Dr. Jianfeng Lu is a dedicated researcher and educator at the Institute of Graphics and Images at Hangzhou Dianzi University, which he joined in 2005.
He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the prestigious State Key Laboratory of CAD&CG at Zhejiang University in 2005, following his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Mechatronic Engineering from the same institution.
From 2008 to 2010, Dr. Lu conducted postdoctoral research at the National University of Singapore (NUS), where he achieved significant outcomes in the 3D atlas generation of human structures and virtual reality applications for medical education.
Dr. Lu’s research expertise lies at the intersection of multimedia processing, artificial intelligence, intelligent interaction, and medical 3D visualization.
Throughout his career, he has served as the Principal Investigator for a project funded by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology and has been a key contributor to two projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) in the field of medical visualization.
He has authored nearly 40 papers in leading international and domestic venues, including Computers & Graphics, the Journal of Computer Research and Development, and the Journal of Computer-Aided Design & Computer Graphics, with numerous publications indexed by SCI and EI.
